Swim Session @ North Lakes Aquatic Centre

Regular 25 metre pool sessions are held at North Lakes Aquatic Centre. The following sessions are held:

  • Adult Sessions: Tuesday AND Thursday 5.30pm – 6.45pm

Other swim sessions are also available:

  • Adult Session. Monday, Wednesday Friday at pool opening time. Monday focus is on stroke correction, Wednesday is distance and stroke correction, Friday is speed work.

Saturday Group Ride @ Bunnings Rothwell

Saturdays rides for the Adults usually leave at 6 am from Bunning’s Rothwell Car Park so be there at 5:50am – enter via Bremner Rd off Anzac Ave Rothwell , ready to leave at 6am (For those new to the club, we then come back to Coffee shop & enjoy a social chat & coffee (after the run off the bike of course!). Juniors will leave from the car park opposite Redcliffe Police Station @ 5:30am – check FB and the Newsletter for last minute changes.

Adults generally have 4 to 5 groups catering for the full range of experience and distances including, beginners, Intermediate and advanced groups. Distances and terrain are varied to suit preparation for upcoming races or training phase. Juniors have 2 groups dependant on age/ability (speak to Gai)

SAFETY FIRST – I’d like to again remind you to please remember to obey all road rules, including stopping at red lights & stop signs. Please also don’t use iPods etc during our RRTC group rides. The penalty for not obeying road rules is 20 push ups – which must be performed when you get back to the coffee club. I ask all ride leaders & everyone on the ride to take this seriously. The positive recognition for doing the right thing is we all enjoy our rides more and motorists are more pleasant towards us !!

Your Saturday ride is an LSD (long steady/slow distance) ride – it isn’t meant to be high intensity (unless you are required to do efforts or a fast TT by your coach)

Track @ John oxley reserve

Running speed sessions are held twice a week on a Monday (grass track) and Wednesday (road / path track) evenings.  These sessions are great to work on your speed under the watchful eye of experienced running coaches. Suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced runners.  All ages.
Monday 5pm at John Oxley Reserve cnr Dohles Rocks Rd and Ogg Rd Murrumba Downs.
Monday 4.45pm for juniors at John Oxley Reserve
Wednesday 6pm at Cnr Russel St and Dohles Rocks Rd Murrumba Downs.
Wednesday 5pm for juniors (Talk with Gai re meeting point)
