Training over Easter:
Thursday – 5.15am ride from Petrie Train stn. Easy 35 – 40km cycle. Also 5.30am at Mt Mee if you want hills.
Thursday 5.30pm Swim Nth Lakes
Easter Friday – No swimming at NL pool in the am
3pm long slow run from Dougs Seafood Café at Sandgate
Easter Saturday – Usual long ride from Bunnings. Most rides start at 6am. Long group leaving at 5.30am and heading out to Toorbul – 110km
Enogerra Open Water Swim Sat arvo if interested. Watch fb for details.
Easter Sunday – No formal training sessions
Easter Monday – Big Brick Session – Juniors / Short Course and Long course including the Pre Port Mac Brick
Long Course arrive 5.30am with a 6am start planned. All your transition will be in bags like in IM. Plan is a 45 min swim / 2hr cycle / 75 min run.
Short course arrive 6am for a 6.15am start. You will be doing short swim / cycle / runs with some extra work on open water swim skills and nailing that transition.
Juniors – 11yr + 6am
Juniors – 7-10 yrs 7.15am
No swimming at NL Monday AM as pool will be closed early
Monday 5pm – Running as per usual John Oxley Reserve.
Tuesday – Back to usual training.
Please note: All the training sessions are open to all RTC athletes. Cost $4 for most sessions paid to coach.
