RTC Riding Update 30th January 2014

Sorry about delay….2 ride groups tomorrow, leaving at 5am & 6am so please be at Coffee Club North Lakes by 4.50am & 5.50am, respectively. For those new to the club, we then come back to Coffee Club & enjoy a social chat & coffee (after the run off the bike of course!). If it’s raining, look out for a message on Facebook

SAFETY FIRST – please follow your road rules, especially giving way to cars at roundabouts, stopping at stop signs. Remember lights are required before & after sunset (makes us much easier to see, not just because it’s a road rule). Please also remember to ride single file across the Ted Smout Bridge, and keep your speed to a reasonable level (this is not a speed section of our rides)

OTHER STUFF

Dave McPhee – Dave appreciates the messages of support, he is still in hospital with a few issues & infections finding their way into his body. Once he gets over pneumonia & a chest infection, and as long as his pain is under control, he will be able to go home…..I guess that’s one way to get out of doing your “hard” training week Dave!!

Quote for the week

If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough…..
Have a great weekend . . . train safe & stay upright  🙂

Regards . . . Jules
