Road skills(including cornering, braking, changing gears, riding in the correct gear, riding with others, being aware of your surroundings, road safety, road rules and drinking from your water bottle)
Transition practise(including mounting, dismounting)
Bike skills(including zig-zags, u-turns, stopping quickly and riding with one hand)
This session is important to all juniors age 8 and up. There will be different ability groups, from outright beginner through to the older athlete.
The Winter Season is the perfect time to improve bike skills. Parents are welcome to attend and do the session alongside your junior athletes.
