RTC Awards

At the conclusion of the Tri season, RTC holds a presentation night where the following race awards are presented:

RTC Club Champions

This award is presented to male and female, under and over 40 years of age who gains the most points from the TQ State Series races plus the Moreton Bay Grand Prix. These races are: TQ Duathlon (10/40/50), TQ OD (1.5/40/10), TQ aquathlon (2.5/1/2.5), TQ sprint (750/20/5), TQ Long Course HOTW (2/80/20) TQ off road (500/30/10) and the Morton Bay Grand Prix long course Duathlon. Points are awarded down to tenth position.

RTC Handicap Champions

This award is presented to the person who improves the most from the first to the forth race of the Bribie Island Tri Series.

RTC Bribie Short Course Champions

This award is presented to the fastest male and female at the final Bribie Island Tri Series race in the short course race.

RTC Sprint Tri Champions

This award is presented to the fastest male and female at the final Bribie Island Tri Series race in the long course race.

RTC Olympic Distance Tri Champions

This award is presented to the fastest male and female, under and over 40 years of age at the Mooloolaba Tri.

RTC Iron Distance Champions

Awards are presented to the fastest male and female for the swim, bike, run and overall time at any iron distance race. Race must be entire Iron distance – 3.86 km/180.25 km/42.2 km and can be Ironman, Challenge or any other branded event.

As per the club rules, racing awards are for members (at the time of the event) who race for RTC in the TQ/Ironman events.
